About Me
With over 20 years of experience in location sound recording I bring a wealth of expertise to every shoot I undertake. I've worked on a diverse variety of prestige broadcast and commercial projects including documentaries, factual television, entertainment shows, reality series and competition-style formats. Along with an array of commercials, branded content and high-end corporate projects.
I am based in Surbiton, SW London/Surrey but work all over the country and have travelled extensively abroad, from the sub-zero temperatures of the arctic to the intense heat of the desert or the hustle of a city centre. Along with various studio setups, sporting venues and corporate headquarters.
I have the skills and experience to seamlessly blend into a team whether it be a small shooting unit or larger full crew and always approach a job with a positive, can-do attitude.
On set I adopt a proactive stance to facilitate the smooth running of a shoot, swiftly adapting to any changes as they arise and pride myself on delivering the best possible audio.
I can provide technical expertise for single camera shoots or multi camera / multi radio mic productions and I can organise and manage additional sound crew and kit if required.
I have a full UK driving licence and vehicle, Carnet for my equipment and valid I-Visa along with Public Liability Insurance.

Equipment
Every job is prepped with the correct equipment taking into consideration the cameras being used, the location or environment and the possible sensitive nature of a production.
I own an extensive range of equipment with my main rig being the powerful Zaxcom audio system. Due to its integrated design I can provide a feature packed system but in a compact set up, making me agile on location while ensuring I can deliver crisp audio.
A standout feature is the seamless control of my radio mics directly from the mixer, streamlining the filming process for maximum productivity. In addition, the transmitter’s built in recording function adds another layer of convenience and flexibility.
Communication on set is always key so managing programme sound, talent IFB feeds and production radios is a priority.
I have close relationships to local rental houses so any additional kit requirements can be easily arranged.
